Description
From the neck of a large incasic bottle
Rim/neck fragment with a lug on the rim. The fragment has an orange slip (?) and is painted with parallel white lines over a red base. There appears to be a burnished finish on the exterior. The vessel was likely fired in an oxidizing atmosphere with localized reduction as the ceramic paste is orange, buff, and gray in color. The catalogue number is written in black ink on the interior and black ink on the interior reads: "921 E."
