Description

Huipil for a woman of third class. White cotton woven in horizontal bands: black, yellow, red, and dark blue and white ikat.

As per Sigrid Meier, "Warp: 34 epi, one single, Z twist, white cotton. Weft: 29 ppi, two singles, Z twist, white cotton. White sections are of balanced plain weave. Striped sections are of twill weave. One panel, two selvedges."
