Small statue of Dionysos/Bacchus; sometimes known as Narcissos. Standing; left foot forward; head inclined toawrd his left; left hand on hip; nebris (fawnskin) slung over left shoulder; right forearm extended with index finger out. Beardless; ivy garland with prominent clusters of berries. Elaborate sandals bound and crossed up to lower calf. Otherwise naked. Standing on round plinth with molded profile and ornament in low relief. Original found at Pompeii.
