Description | Native tanned hide; rectangular shape with seperate triangular flap closure. Blue, yellow, red, and green beads in a stepped hourglass-shaped design against a white background. Border around central design field of red diagonals broken at five intervals by bands of purple and yellow. Closure flap is edge-beaded in blue and yellow. Strap is native tanned hide beaded in green with four intervals of parallel lines of blue and yellow; attached to bag by four cords (two on each side) which are completely covered with purple and blue beads. Beadwork done in spot stitch technique using commercial thread. Native tanned hide fringe at bottom. Overall condition very good. |
