Description
A gourd, emptied and dried, around which are looped strings of seeds of a plant, tengben. The strings are alternately held loose and jerked tight to produce the sharp rhythmic crash of the seeds against the gourd which marks, together with a pair of small drums, the tempo of the Bondo Society dances.
