Description
Ceremonial hair band. Tapestry woven. Ends are fringed oval balls with rayon fringes with looped binders and fringes. Bought in Rabinal, Baja Verapaz.
As per Sigrid Meier, "White cotton warp, S twist, used single, double or multiple. Weft faced plain weave. Weft faced tapestry weave."
