Description | Dentalum shells strung in nine parallel rows between strips of leather. The leather is painted red on one side, and a coin is tied to one of the central leather strips. The coin has the image of a charging bull on the front, and the back reads "Good for 25 cents in merchandise, Durfee & Peck." Six loose dentalum shells are bagged separately. |
