Description | Cofradia, man's, wool with silk and cotton. Orange ground with blue stripes and navy and white ikat warp stripes. Animal and plant figures brocading. Broken twill weave. As per Sigrid Meier, "Warp: 24 epi, 2 singles, Z twist, orange cotton. 3 singles, Z twist, blue cotton. 2 singles, Z twist, ikat cotton. Weft: 22 ppi, 3 singles, Z twist, orange cotton. Broken twill weave. Supplemental weft - double faced. 1 panel - 2 selvedges. Made on a backstrap loom." |
