Description

Cofradia, man's, wool with silk and cotton. Orange ground with blue stripes and navy and white ikat warp stripes. Animal and plant figures brocading. Broken twill weave.

As per Sigrid Meier, "Warp: 24 epi, 2 singles, Z twist, orange cotton. 3 singles, Z twist, blue cotton. 2 singles, Z twist, ikat cotton. Weft: 22 ppi, 3 singles, Z twist, orange cotton. Broken twill weave. Supplemental weft - double faced. 1 panel - 2 selvedges. Made on a backstrap loom."
