Description

Dark blue cotton embroidered with bands and series of flowers diamonds broken crosses animals and plants one bird and one women in red, yellow, green, lavender and white cotton and rose silk.

As per Sigrid Meier, "Warp: 40 epi, 2 ply, Z twist, navy cotton. Weft:26 ppi, 2 singles, Z twist, navy cotton. Warp predominently plain weave. Supplemental weft: double faced figures with single faced bands. 1 panel - 4 selvdges. Made on a backstrap loom."
