Description

Cista foot. Patina removed in 1966. Right wing is missing. Animal is composed of a lion's head on a bird's body with spread wings, and ends below the lion's paw. Face is indicated by large gashes, the wing feathers by grooves, and the breasts by punched dots. A small flat knob projects from the left side of the head.
