Seated Hermes. Seated, body leaning slightly forward, head inclined to right. Right leg extended forward, left leg bent back. Right hand resting on (non-existent) rock. Left hand forward, upper forearm resting on left thigh with hand holding part of a cylindrical object (caduceus?). Winged sandals, otherwise naked. Short, wavy hair. Original found at Herculaneum.
