Description
"Wedding" basket with two concentric stepped pyramids connected at one point by two parallel lines; coiled, using willow; aniline dye. Condition: considerable weft damage, especially on the bottom. Tag on inside bottom of basket with typed text: "very old wedding basket "Navajo" about 75 years old"
