Description | Black, fine-grained rock (chert or volcanic origin). Broken in one place. Flaked on both surfaces. One side is slightly convex. Probably asymmetrical, only one end remains. Proximal and distal edges appear to be straight. Broken perpendicularly to longitudinal axis, so probably less than one half of artifact remains. Distal and proximal edges are retouched. |
