Description | Long straight blade with median ridge. Dark, with indistinct watery markings (pamor). Small gold cup (mendak) with bands of beading top and bottom, broad gold cup (selut) with band of larger beads. Hilt is light brown wood carved as demon (raksasa) with long hair curling down back, sitting upright with arms crossed over chest. Round belly with swastika-like incised design. Possibly North coast of Java (Pasisir Jawa) or Madura. |
