Description | Kiln Support from kilns producing Sawankhalok wares. Partially hollow fired clay tube. Reddish brown-black glaze on most of exterior. Streaks in glaze running lengthwise. Irregular incised lines on upper half of tube. Spiral of raised ridges on interior. Wider and flatter on base end. Base is unglazed with hard accretions on sides. Large chip missing from one side of base. Other end is broken off unevenly. |
