Description

"Yataghan". Single-edged, slightly recurved, steel blade tapering to a point. Tang inserted through two-piece horn grip which is ornamented with silver studs and bound around with a silver band with conventionalized scroll deoration in high relief. The sides of the grip are carried down over the top of the blade and covered with silver which is worked in high relief.
