Description

painted decoration, scarlet or plum ware? Light brown ware. Red paint on rim and shoulder in solid band; red bands on body forming panels and stripes; between the stripes are traces of painted decoration in triangles and circles, original colour perhaps brown. Wide flat base, short nearly vertical sides, wide shoulder with four pierced lug handles; vertically incised collar at point of carination; no neck, slight rim. Fragmentary, restored.
