Description | Chipped, mended, some plastering; one handle missing. Low ring base. Body nearly semi spherical, incurves at shoulder, separated from sharp, outward flaring rim by wheel run groove on carination. Small horizontal loop handle each side just below rim. Black glazed dec. upper side of base to handle zone, black band above handles, upper side of handles, thin band on lip, all of interior rim and interior except for thinreserved band neat top of rim. Some light glazed bands on exterior rim. Fine clay, fine fabric. Some fine mica. Fired brownish buff. |
