Description | Similar to 4662 but with small coils on either side of the spout placed vertically on the shoulder. Medium textured, reddish yellow (7.5 YR 7/6) clay, with very pale brown (10 YR 7/3) slip and decoration in red (2.5 YR 5/8) to reddish black (10 YR 2.5/1) paint. Wiped with water and burnished. Decoration similar to 606. Restored from fragments; some sherds missing. See 4662. |
