Description | Wood, iron nails. Used in shipbuilding. Ink drawing on shaft/handle indicates it may have been part of a winch/windlass/pully system. Shaft/handle portion badly split. Handle is attached so that rest of imlement can spin freely. "Shirai" written in ink of shaft/handle. |
