Description | Cotton, two panels sewn together with embroidered seams, neck opening overcast in silk thread, red ground with blue and white stripes, brocaded animals front and back, brocaded shoulders. As per Sigrid Meier, "Warp: 64 epi, red cotton - 4 singles - white cotton 3 ply. Blue cotton - 2 ply. Weft: 12 ppi, 6 singles, red cotton. Warp faced plain weave. Supplement weft - 2 faced. 2 panels - 4 selvedges each. Made on backstrap loom." |
