Description | Two panels of brocaded cotton, similar colors but dissimilar designs, plant, flower, bird, zigzag, unfinished. Brocading in white, orange, magenta, blue, purple, green. Zig zag and stylized plain and flower design and birds. As per Sigrid Meier, "Warp: 36 epi, 2 singles, Z twist, dark blue cotton. Weft: 28 ppi, 2 singles, Z twist, dark blue cotton. Warp plain weave. Supplemental weft: two faced. 2 panels - 4 selvedges each. Made on a backstrap loom." |
