Description
with curved handle on top, broken
Round lid with a cord (round cross-section) handle on the top of the lid. No decoration. There appears to be a smoothed finish on the exterior. The vessel was likely fired in an oxidizing atmosphere as the ceramic paste is orange in color. Fireclouding is present on the top The catalogue number is written on the bottom. Black ink on the bottom of the lid reads: "3287."
