Description | Ring base, globular body, high, narrow, cylindrical neck (12.5 cm high); long filter spout at right angles to the loop handle which connects the upper part of the body with the lower part of the neck; the middle of the handle is in the form of two twisted strands, the strands terminating in two coils on the base of the handle. Brown ware with traces of buff wash on the neck and red wash on the body. Oren: “Jug. Brown ware, buff slip on neck and reddish on body, burnished.” |
