Description | Sommerville: White Topaz. Aristides, surnamed the Just on account of his inflexible integrity. Gold and Bronze Rings - Cameos, Case QQQ. Vermeule: White Topaz. Cameo. (Modern gilt ring setting) Bust termed that of Aristides, facing. The features suggest portraits of Demosthenes, but are probably inspired by a Roman portrait of the 2nd cent. A.D. Neo-Classic. |
