Description | Three panels sewn together with four selvedges on each panel. Neck not cut out. White cotton in gauze weave with supplementary weft brocade of animals, people, and flowers. Per Sigrid Meier Warp 1997: 32 ep single Z-twisted white cotton. Weft: 34 ppi single Z-twisted white cotton. Balanced plain weave, supplementary weft: double-faced; singles Z-twisted white cotton. Made on a backstrap loom. |
