Description

Long iron blade thrust through wooden handle which is oval in section becoming circular at the end. The handle is surmounted by a seated human figure, in the round except the feet and most of the legs in high relief; copper earrings; belt of brass-headed tacks. The upper two-thirds of the handle covered with brass-headed nails; behind this one very wide and one rather narrow band of brass wire binding.
