Description | Shoulder lekythos. Disk foot, unglazed on underside and on edge, glazed above. Lower wall glazed. Two glazed bands, broad below, thin above, above lower wall. Upper is ground line for figured scene: in center, Dionysos standing behind a mule. To l. and r. a dancing female figure. On shoulder, lotus buds. Neck unglazed save for a row of short vertical strokes at base, Neck black on exterior. Handle missing. Repaired from fragments. |
