Description | Very old, red with five lengthwise compound stripes of green black lavender and yellow, designs in two series of short bars, four repeats of little black and white deer, two butterflies between broken crosses, remaining designs floral, embroidery yellow, lavender, black and white cotton. As per Sigrid Meier, "Warp: 64 epi, 2 singles, Z twist, red, yellow, green, navy, white and blue. 2 ply lavender cotton, 2 ply red and green ( 1 strand red, 1 green). Weft: 26 ppi, red cotton. Warp faced plain weave. Supplemental weft - double faced. 1 panel - 4 selvedges. Made on a backstrap loom." |
