Description
Twined hat made from split spruce root. Flares outward toward the lower rim. The upper half uses two-strand twining while the lower half uses a combination of two and three-strand twining to create a diagonal line pattern. Top-stock of six spruce root basketry rings with two ermine pelts attached to the top ring. Cloth straps are attached to the interior to affix the helmet to the wearer's head.
