Description | Cofradia of white cotton in very soft weave. Three panels. Yoke effect at neck in white. Woven stripe in the white section. Figures of flowers and stylized birds in red, dark green and yellow in tapestry weave, mostly on red ground. As per Sigrid Meier, "Warp: 15 epi, one single, Z twist, white cotton. Weft: 46 ppi, three and six singles, Z twist, white red yellow and green cotton. Weft is two faced tapestry weave. Three panels, two and three selvedges. Woven on a backstrap loom." |
