Description

Nanga. Long, slender woodentrough-like body with membrane resonating surface sewn on through holes in edge of wood with fiber strings. A light colored skin patch with hair is bound on end with arm. 6 twisted raffia fiber strings. Short curved neck (L-shaped) carved at end to fit in end of body. 5 lateral pegs - one remains. 4 strings remain (broken). Poor condition
