Description | 112 rectangular playing cards based on Chinese Chess (象棋 xiangqi). Four bundles of cards: green, yellow, white, and red. Each wrapped together with green string. Characters are printed on the front. 112 cards total. Labeled A-HHHH. Dye slightly fading. From Culin publication: "No. 29. - From Canton. Four each of the seven men in four colors: red, yellow; white, green, and five jokers, the Five Blessings. The jokers in this example are printed on white; they are sometimes met with in red. Total, 117." |
