Description
Cotton. Narrow red, white and blue-white jaspe stripes. Wide center blue stripe. Cotton brocade of large zigzags with 4 different color blocks before direction change. Red-orange, yellow, green, blue, fuscia and white.
As per Sigrid Meier, "Warp: 48 epi, two singles, Z twist, white cotton. Two singles, Z twist, white and blue ikat cotton. Three singles, Z twist, red cotton. Weft: 14 ppi, three singles, Z twist, red cotton. Warp faced plain weave. Supplementary weft is single faced. One panel, three selvedges and fringe at one end. Woven on a backstrap loom."
