Description

Buckskin with painted central design U-shaped with termanial rings. Buckskin fringe at bottom. Stephens' list calls for "Shield of steer's hide and dressed deerskin cover. Large, ornamented with eagle feathers. Gotten from the Indians about 1860. Comanche, Texas."
