Description | Red plain weave cotton cloth. Yellow and green pin stripes run parallel to selvedge edge. Two breadths joined by randas of silk thread in green, yellow, purple, white. Geometric designs of the same colors brocaded randomly. As per Sigrid Meier, "Warp: 68 epi, two ply, Z twist, red, yellow and green cotton. Weft: 30 ppi, single, Z twist, red cotton. Warp faced plain weave. Supplementary weft is single faced. Two panels, four selvedges. Woven on a backstrap loom." |
