Description | Rectangular box and lid containing the "wood kidney" charm of the Nuwn-Shaka-aya Clan. The box is constructed from five wooden planks nailed together at the corners. The exterior is undecorated save for the short ends being painted with red pigment. The lid has a border carved around the perimeter which is also painted with red pigment. The box contains animal remains on a bed of dried grass. |
