Description | Original Card: Flint implement (worked flake) - Thick heavy recloir. England, Swanscombe, Galley Hill. Lower Palaeolithic. Revised Card:Flint flake - Thick, heavy flake with large oblique striking platform and very much accidented bulb. Large part of cortex remaining on upper face. Yellow olive shiny patination. Striated. Edges show utilization, mostly from upper face. England, Kent, Swanscombe, Galley Hill. Clacton I type. |
