Description | Unfinished huipil made of white gauze in three panels. White brocade in herringbone pattern. Neck not cut. As per Sigrid Meier, "Warp: 28 epi, single, Z twist, white cotton. Weft: 30 ppi, single, Z twist, white cotton. Balanced plain weave. Supplementary weft is two faced. Three panels, four selvedges. Woven on a backstrap loom." |
