Description

Man's belt. Light green with dark blue and white ikat lines. Broad band at each end and at center of solid brocading in red, white and yellow silk in parallel wavy lines. Ends fringed.

As per Sigrid Meier, "Warp: 36 epi, three singles, Z twist, green cotton. Two singles, S twist, jaspe cotton. Weft: 24 ppi, three singles, Z twist, green cotton. Warp predominantly plain weave. Supplementary weft is single faced. Woven on a backstrap loom."
