Description | Hair ornament. Dujong mariet. Beadwork. Brown disk (button?) threaded with beads. On top, a short string of five glass beads: dark blue, yellow, dark blue, light blue, and red, all tubular except for the middle dark blue bead, which is round. Hanging under the button are short radiating strings of small beads (white/dark blue/yellow/green/red) from which hang 31 strings of brown tubular twigs (?) ending in tiny beads( yellow/blue/yellow/green/red) and fluffy pom poms and natural or blue or dark green or red or multi colored strings of beads with pom poms. Some strings without pom poms end in brass beads - to one of thiese a small snail shell is attached. |
