Description

Wood sheath with polished, ship shaped wood top (wrangka), with a small, hooked protruberance at one bottom corner. Light colored one side. with a small round dark splotch; other side darker, with dark streaks (kaju pelet). Body of sheath (not attached to top) is wood with a brass covering (pendok): relief pattern of curling vines with leaves and roses. The word “Java” written in block letters on one side of top.
