Description
Off-white cotton huipil in two panels, loosely sewn together. Brocaded with animals and human figures. Geometric band at shoulder. Green selvedges.
As per Sigrid Meier, "Warp: 35 epi, three singles, Z twist, white cotton. Weft: 20 ppi, three single, Z twist, white cotton. Warp is predominantly plain weave. Supplementary weft is two faced. Two panels, four selvedges. Woven on a backstrap loom."
