Description | Shoulder lekythos. Disk foot, underside glazed. Top of foot and lower wall glazed. Above, l. to r.,(1) man in cloak, carrying stick (spear?), facing r.; (2) man in Phrygian cap and cloak carrying spears, points down, behind horse; (3) man in cloaked an petasos with two spears behind horse. On shoulder, lotus bud pattern. At base of neck, short vertical glazed lines. Handle and part of neck probably plaster. Neck and mouth alien. |
