Description

Omphalos dish. Very thin fabric covered with a blue-green metallic glaze. Pale buff clay. Thin crack along the upper diameter. Rouletted decoration around the omphalos. Within the rouletted band, an unevenly drawn groove and within that stamped lotus and palmette patterns in alternation, 4 of each. The base line of these flowers is on a second groove encicling the omphalos.
