Description

"9- Salacot hat- lining of inner part of bamboo covered with skin (of bamboo) probably before palm leaf is added."

Inner lining of split bamboo woven tightly and with inner flexible crown. Wooden hoop forms brim, outer side covered with folded palm fronds. Band of green cotton thread forms decorative band around brim and large geometric design on top.
