Description | Pale greenish blue glass with bubbles around rim and base and a little iridescence. Base concave with projecting pontil mark. Body squat and bulbous and decorated with darker teal threading. Just above the base the glass thread is trailed in a zigzag pattern. Above this are 4 to 5 passes of the same color thread in straight horizontal lines. Neck is cylindrical with a thick thread of teal glass around its base. Rim flares dramatically outward and up with a thread around the point where it bends upward. Edge is rounded and a ribbon handle of teal glass connects edge of rim with shoulder. |
