Description

Ivory fragment with man's head.

Muscarella Publication: "Human head, left. The eye is oval, nose sharp and prominent, with nostrils represented; ears S-shaped, hair - or a hat - is flat and not delineated at top except for horizontal lines, and hangs thinly at the rear, decorated in a herringbone or braided pattern. Plain top and right edges are intact. The top border is beveled and has a horizontal groove; a dowel hole at the left."
