Description | This jar has a long, narrow neck (narrowest at its midpoint) which has three ridges around it, as well as a possible 4th ridge at the very base of the neck. The ridges seem to have been applied - in fact, the uppermost it partly missing. One vertical handle runs from the lower neck to the uppermost shoulder. The body is globular with exterior vertical burnishing strokes. The base is nearly flat (slightly rounded). |
