Description | Shape: Basket-handled jug with high neck and side-spout. Fabric: Fine, pale yellow (2.5Y 7/4) clay with decoration in light brownish gray (2.5Y 6/2) to black paint. Self-slipped. Decoration: Interior unpainted. Spout painted. Bands on outside of rim and on neck; frieze of irregular vertical wavy lines and dots on shoulder zone; five bands on lower body. Resting surface unpainted. Condition: Restored from fragments. Some sherds missing. |
